Inspiring ScienceCardiome has developed a community outreach program called “Inspiring Science” to expand young minds to think about science in a more significant and exciting way. The Inspiring Science program links students’ interests and hobbies to science in ways they may not have thought of before. This program was initiated in 2011, and has been completed in four elementary schools, involving over 40 Cardiome staff members who have volunteered a combined total of over 500 hours preparing every detail of the program. Further to the time and energy put into Inspiring Science by the Cardiome staff, two new microscopes were donated to each school to enhance their science program. |
